We also do Health Checks and New Patient Medicals, please ring to make an appointment.

When We Are Closed
The provision of GP Out of Hours cover is undertaken by Cumbria Health on Call (CHoC).
To contact a doctor when the surgery is closed if you live in south Cumbria (covering the Westmorland, South Lakes and Barrow-in-Furness areas) you should telephone NHS 111 by dialling 111

Cumbria Health on Call (CHoC) operates when GP practices are closed and normally this is from 6.30pm to 8.00am Monday to Friday, and 24 hours throughout the weekend and on Bank Holidays. CHoC also covers afternoons when GP practices are closed for staff training.
The main CH treatment centres are located in:
- Kendal – Westmorland General Hospital
- Barrow – Furness General Hospital
- Morecambe – Queen Victoria Centre
- Lancaster – Royal Lancaster Infirmary
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
