FLU VACCINES NOW IN
Posted on 9 Sep 2020
Appointments can be made via the MyGP app, online or by contacting the Surgery.
We also have an open clinic this SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 9.00am-1.00pm no appointment necessary.
The clinics are running a little differently this year and we are working hard to ensure we keep them safe for patients and staff.
Please attend alone if you can.
Please wear a short sleeved shirt under your coat so it is quick and easy to access your upper arm.
Arrive within a 5 minute window of your allotted time and wait at the front door, maintaining social distance.
We will have admin staff on hand who will take your details and check your temperature before entering the building. You will then go to the next available Clinician for your injection.
Once you have had your injection you will leave the building by the back door, so we can maintain a one way system.
Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
